Golf Fundraisers That Don’t Need to be Star Studded Events to Raise Money

If organizing a <a title-“Golf fundraiser at ProFund!” href=http://www.golfmarathonman.com/golf_fundraisers.html>golf fundraiser</a> seems a little intimidating, remember- you can’t do it all by yourself and you shouldn’t! Get some good people on board and start delegating. Start by getting organized. Start making lists. Even if you can’t create a star studded event, with the right people and enough energy, you can raise more money than you thought possible.

What Are Your Goals?
Are you trying to get new uniforms for the school baseball team or are you trying to raise money for a down payment on a new church building? Knowing exactly what your goals are and putting them down in writing will get you started in the right direction. Is your goal to raise awareness for an animal shelter or breast cancer? What is your main motivation for your golf fundraiser?

How Much Money Do You Want To Make?
If your intention is to raise as much money as possible, this will affect how much money you are looking to spend, who you choose to invite and how much effort will need to be spent gathering sponsors. If you are throwing a golf fundraiser to raise awareness and any money raised will be just a bonus- you may not need to put as much effort trying to pin down sponsors. Depending on the amount of money you want to raise will also affect what type of golf course you choose, in both aesthetics and size.

What Do You Want This Tournament To Do For Your Group?
Is this golf fundraiser for team building as well as fundraising? Or is it more a fundraising event that your group only benefits financially from? Depending on your groups proposed involvement will dramatically affect the way your golf fundraiser is set up. If it’s a team building exercise on top of fundraiser- than perhaps just having your group asking for pledges is all you need to work on- and your group will play the game. If your goal is for your group to learn about raising as much money as possible, than you are going to want to get them involved with sponsors.

Who Is Your Audience?
A very important question. Who your audience is depends on just about everything. You need to appeal to your audience in every decision that you make.
•    What golf course you choose
•    Prizes
•    Sponsors
•    Food and beverages

What Can You Delegate to Get Your Goals Met?
Don’t forget- you don’t and shouldn’t take this all on by yourself. In order to throw a successful http://www.golfmarathonman.com/page/page/5048163.htm, you are going to need help. Look to friends, family and especially your group and their resources to fulfill your fundraising goals. With enough help and motivation for success, there is no way you can lose!
