<p>Another great way to stay motivated is to find someone to be a workout buddy.&nbsp; A workout buddy is someone who will go to the gym with you or who will exercise with you.&nbsp; They can be someone to call you in the morning to get you out of bed to go running.&nbsp; Classes offered at the gym are another way to have &ldquo;workout buddies.&rdquo;&nbsp; The people who are there all have a common goal: to get fit.&nbsp; They are free to members.&nbsp; There are a wide variety of classes offered: yoga, Pilates, cardio, stretching, weight training, cycling, and many others.&nbsp; If you can&rsquo;t find a workout buddy creating a stimulating soundtrack is a good alternative.&nbsp; When creating a playlist start with songs that are slower so you can get warmed up.&nbsp; Then increase the tempo of the music to give you a good cardio or training section.&nbsp; It is also important to end with songs with a slower tempo so you can cool down. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Eating a proper diet with added protein, drinking water, and getting a workout buddy is a good way to stay motivated to get the results you want while losing weight.</p>

<p>For years, people have been able to feel a connection to certain things through music. Movies tend to incorporate music into them to keep fans intrigued, and concerts are always seen as a big event for people that want to have a good time. <p>There are some people that still see cheerleaders are meaningless commodities at sporting games. In fact, some people will not admit that this demanding sport is actually a sport at all. <p><b>Which would you get if you were me?</b><br />

<p>Okay I will tell you my situation. I am 13 and have been saving for about 3 months now (doing chores, mowing the lawn, selling things on craigslist.) and have $508 total, by the end of this month I plan on having around $800 &#8211; $900. I was originally saving for a 27&#8243; iMac, I have a slow laptop right now that can&#8217;t keep up with me (video editing, producing music, etc.), but am having trouble keeping up my motivation. I am now torn between getting a real nice hdtv  and 360, not sure which one but if I&#8217;m going to get that should I get led, lcd, or plasma, I watch sports, movies, and will be gaming. Or I might get a Roland electronic drum kit because im a drummer and am in 3 bands and cant practice as much as i would like to because of the loud noise. Or should I just keep saving for my iMac. <p><b>I am running my first half-marathon, any suggestions?</b><br />

<p>It is in one week.  I have been running consistantly for only about 9 months.  I run about 8 miles 3 times a week.  I have never run further than 8 miles, so I am concerned, but I am still going for it.  When I run, my body still feels like it can go more, but my mind is the problem,  I need motivation.  Also what should I eat the day prior to and day of run?  Oh I am also scared that I will have to use the bathroom during the run and there will be no porta potties.  I don&#8217;t want to eat or drink too much so that this would be a problem, but i don&#8217;t want to eat too little.  I heard some take immodium.  Anyway any thoughts, suggestions, encouragement, would really be appreciated.

<p>You want to be mentally prepared for your marathon training program. You should look at it as an exciting time of your day where you will be working hard to achieve your goal. To help keep motivated you should look forward to your training sessions and head into them with enthusiasm and a positive frame of mind. </p>
<p>It is important to remember that your marathon training program is the most important thing that is going to get you to the starting line and more importantly it is what is going to get you passed the finishing line. So it is important that you treat your marathon training program seriously and with respect. Training for a marathon isn&rsquo;t something you can do whenever you feel like it. That is the whole point of having a marathon training program because it is designed to get you into the right physical shape to complete your first marathon. </p>
<p>If you skip sessions you will be training unevenly, as each session is different you are going to fall behind in a particular area and that is something you can&rsquo;t afford to happen when you are training for your first marathon. Stick to your marathon training program and don&rsquo;t make compromises. Some people say it&rsquo;s hard to fit it in when they have so many other things going on in their day. That is very understandable, which is why you start organising your daily routine before you start your marathon training program so that you have prepared ahead of time. You should sit down and work out exactly what time of day you will be able to complete your marathon training program and make sure it doesn&rsquo;t conflict with anything else. That way nothing will come up unexpectedly and you won&rsquo;t be tempted to put your training off until another time. </p>
<p>To get the most out of your marathon training program physically you want to prepare for each session. It is important to get a good nights sleep every night because you will need to give your body a chance to recover and the best way the body can recover is when you are sleeping. Also you don&rsquo;t want to be slow and sluggish before your training sessions because you won&rsquo;t perform to your full potential which will hamper your overall marathon training program and waste time. So it is important to make sure you are well rested and your body is fresh and ready to go. </p>
<p>Another important thing to remember about your marathon training program is that you have to stretch and warm up correctly before you start training. Too often people go out there and start training without warming up correctly and end up injuring themselves and their marathon training program is put on the shelf. It is easy to skip the warm up and get straight into it but you must take the time out to warm up and stretch properly because not only will help you get more out of your marathon training program but it will help prevent injury.</p>

<p>The pessimists say that it&#8217;s a hoax, a scam, a trick to fool the desperate and weak-willed. They claim that the only reason that the Law of Attraction is so popular is because as a society the world&#8217;s population has been growing increasingly lazy. Which is true. We want everything done for us and it had to be done five minutes ago.</p>
<p>There are contraptions that turn our lights off and on for us, devices that clean the shower for you at automated time, and it&#8217;s even gotten to the point where instead of exercising for ourselves, which is really the whole point of it, we have a machine that flexes our muscles for us.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s amazing that the world has grown to the point where we look for ways to offset the responsibility of the consequences that too much indulgence has wrought on our bodies. So the pessimists may be depressing but they have a point.</p>
<p> It&#8217;s entirely possible that the idea of the Law of abundance could be nothing but another commercialistic stunt aimed at giving people exactly what they want and then blaming the failure of its delivery on their personal lack of self awareness and motivation. So the optimists say that not only is this type of self hypnosis effective it&#8217;s good for you body, mind, and soul. You grow as a person while all the while opening up your inner psyche to the complex workings of the universe.</p>
<p>You affect those working by thought alone and integrate yourself in the fabric that makes up the cosmos so that, much the same as the aim of many religions, you reach a state of higher understanding and purpose. It&#8217;s all very new age and most don&#8217;t appreciate the concept unless they&#8217;ve tried it and succeeded. If that success only occurs once the pessimist will tell you that it was a fluke, a trick of the light. The optimist will tell you it&#8217;s a sign.<br />In my opinnion,&nbsp; we should discuss it&#8217;s scientific aspect to understand whether it&#8217;s just an escapisim or the real inner power of the human.</p>
<p>Well, we should ask this question: Is there a science behind all these universal laws declarations?<br />Ok, we have two famous scientists in &#8220;The Secret&#8221; movie. They are both Quantum physicist .<br />The first physicist &#8220;Allen Wolf&#8221; says: when we disrupt the &#8220;Atom&#8221; which is the smallest unit of the matter we see that it&#8217;s nothing more than small energy circles which we call as &#8220;quant&#8221;. So, this means that all the matter around us is &#8220;just energy&#8221;!</p>
<p>These statements not only claimed by from Mr. Wolf, but also claimed by hundreds of quantum physicists.<br />Furthermore, according to our second scientist &#8220;John Hagelin&#8221;, (Maharishi University &#8211; Director of Science &amp; Technology institute) the energy waves of our brains can easily effect the matter and change its structure in quantum size. If this affection continues, its results get tangible and noticeable which is in the physical size.<br />As a result, all these factors mean that we can change our lives with our minds and the power of the universal laws. So, we can see the universal laws are backed by the scientists and I want to turn back my question:<br /> Is there a science behind these all these universal laws declarations?</p>
<p>After seeing these reports, my personal answer immediately appeared as &#8220;yes!&#8221;</p>
<p>Whatever side of the spectrum you fall it&#8217;s a fascinating look into a new thought phenomenon. One that while it may not sound all that consistent to some, has turned out to be the answer to many people&#8217;s prayers the more involved they get in it.</p>
<p>My only advice would be not rejecting anything for you. You couldn&#8217;t guess what you are missing. In any case, I wish the highest success for you in your life.</p>

<h2>Getting motivation to workout</h2>
<p>Work outing out and staying in shape can be a difficult task. It&#8217;s hard to find motivation sometimes because let&#8217;s face it, working out isn&#8217;t usually on the top of people list of fun things to do. But there are a lot of different methods on getting motivated and staying motivated to get in the kind of shape you set for yourself. Motivation is different for everyone and can range from hating your current lifestyle, weight, or body all the way to listening to a song that pumps you up.</p>
<p>The first problem a lot of people have is getting over the first two week hump. When people first begin working out they are usually motivated, they get a gym membership or maybe even a new pair of running shoes. The first two weeks are great and then they hit the wall and they are burnt out on it. They begin to slack off slowly and eventually completely stop working out. Part of the problem is them doing the same thing day in and day out or beginning too hard. If you don&#8217;t normally exercise you may not want to start out working out 5-7 days a week. Start out with 1-2 days a week and grow from there. The other problem is they do the same thing every day. Even if you continue past the first two weeks you shouldn&#8217;t be doing the same thing every day. You need to mix is up. For example, instead of going to the gym every day you should do a run one day, then a long swim another, maybe hit a spin class, and lift some weights. You should always mix it up so your muscles don&#8217;t get used to doing the same thing all the time. It&#8217;s called muscle confusion and it will keep your mind engaged as well.</p>
<p>Another thing people use for motivation is music. If you create the perfect playlist you can be pumped for hours. The right song on your ipod can be the difference between you putting in half an effort and a full effort, or even going to the gym at all. Listening to a high energy song in the car on the ride to the gym, park, or running trail can get you ready for a great workout.</p>
<p>If you have trouble motivating yourself you should try looking for a workout buddy. Having someone there to push you and to get you out the door always helps. It helps when you know someone else is counting on you to workout with them. Everyone has their own ways of becoming motivated but when you find yours use it to your advantage and get in some great workouts.</p>
