First of all I would like to start with my biography, where do I come from, our weather conditions and further facts that can affect on sweating.

I was born in Switzerland in central Europe. On the hills and lower valleys of Switzerland a moderate climate exists, with an average yearly temperature of about 10 – 11 degrees Celsius. The temperature decreases about 1,5 – 2 for every additional 300 m of elevation. So our climate is not so hot. However sometimes in summer we have 25 – 35 degrees Celsius. Especially we experience such temperatures during the last years may be it is connected somehow with global warming, but who cares, it’s simply very hot and a lot of people should attempt to find best solution for them to stop sweating.

During my childhood and puberty I didn’t even think about how embarrassing and demotivational excessive sweating could be. I understood that it is normal to sweat in summer or during some excessive activity and I really didn’t care about it. Maybe just because of sweating condition it wasn’t so excessive and terrible.

Now I will narrate about first meeting with excessive sweating.

Right now I’m a student, next year I will graduate our local university. Last year I had taken a part in students exchange program and I moved to the south, in Italy.

The weather in Italy was really hot and studying in such conditions is not so easy thing. I have understood that I just bet on the wrong horse because I sweat like a horse and this condition was really terrible. I tried to do all my affairs in the morning to decrease sweating during the day. But already at 9 am I had to take a shower because I was sticky and sweaty. My clothes were wet. Studying in the university was even worthier – it was a nightmare. I have learned in stuffy and hot rooms. It was needed only 10-15 minutes to get wet. In every situation I felt myself uncomfortable. I stopped to chat with girls in our group because I was confused due to excessive sweating and body odor.

I tried to use heavy antiperspirants and deodorants with aluminium, it didn’t help. I found some pills in the Internet and ordered them for 89 Euros. It was written that these pills will eliminate excessive sweating and I will stay dry for a long time. It also didn’t help. I Googled a lot and had read tomes of information and finally have found a technique that have helped me. It hasn’t eliminated my problem 100% and forever but I sweat now much less. I forgot about confusing condition and about body odor. I just spent a couple Euros on special ingredients that I had found on our local market. I really don’t know whether this natural technique will help you or not but you can also try because it took me just a half an hour. The link you will find below.

In PC and Commodore 64 versions of the video game Maniac Mansion, a shredded print of the painting hangs over the decaying dining room table. Old Deaf School Park, a park in Columbus, Ohio attempts to replicate the piece in three-dimensional topiary. Nancy Cameron was posed in front of a copy of the painting, dressed in a similar way, for the May, 1976, edition of Playboy. Joshua Ferris’ 2007 novel Then We Came to the End, a book about the workplace, life and labor, places two workaholic lovers in front of the painting, on exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago. The official poster for the 1993 Detroit Grand Prix held on Detroit’s Belle Isle June 11-13 is based on this painting. The poster uses all of the original images of the park goers on the right side but adds images of the racetrack and 3 Indy cars between the park and river, the boats can still be seen, the background across the river has been altered to show the Detroit skyline. The poster is titled ‘Sunday Afternoon at Belle Isle Park, 1993-1893′ The Pixar movie Wall-E released in 2008 features the painting, together with other famous paintings, in the final credits. In 1989 Columbus, Ohio, artist James T. Mason created a topiary version of this painting on the grounds of a former school for the deaf. The reproduction includes 54 human figures, eight boats, three dogs, a monkey and a cat sculpted in yew shrubbery grown over metal frameworks.
